Sawyeh graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in May 2017. During law school, Sawyeh interned with Planned Parenthood Global’s Latin America Regional Office and the Florida Justice Institute, a non-profit firm that focuses on prisoners’ rights, disability rights, and housing discrimination cases. She participated in Miami Law’s Immigration Clinic and later interned in the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.
Prior to law school, Sawyeh worked as the Program Assistant at the Urban League of Broward County’s College Tour Program. She received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in International Studies from San Diego State University.
