Sarada Tangirala is the Director of Corporate Accountability at Women’s Voices for the Earth, where she leads corporate campaigns aimed at eliminating toxic chemicals that harm our health and communities. Before joining WVE, she led market-based change efforts at the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. Her social justice history also includes managing Project Underground’s ChevronToxico campaign, conducting strategic research at the DataCenter to aid environmental justice campaigns across the country, and grassroots organizing for SEIU in Sacramento and ACORN in New York City. She holds a Masters in Public Policy from Oregon State University, and a BA in Sociology from Univ. of California, Davis. She lives in Oakland, CA.
