Erika Kapin is a photographer who loves to share the stories of people, their relationships with the world, and their relationships with each other. Born in Seattle, Washington, Erika currently makes her home in NYC. Erika has studied and worked as a teaching assistant at International Center of Photography. Erika continues to work on her personal projects as well her professional projects in creative portraiture and event photography. Erika often works with conferences and has been the photographer for The National Sex Education Conference, Sex Geek Summer Camp, Poly Dallas Catalyst Con. Erika’s personal work, The Open Photo Project combines photographs of non-monogamous people in their daily lives with their own words about relationships, it strives to reduce the stigma around ethically non-monogamous relationships by increasing empathy and understanding.
